The negotiating committee of the actors’ union, SAG-AFTRA, told its members on Saturday that it had received a “Last, Best and Final Offer” from the major entertainment studios as a strike that has brought much of Hollywood to a standstill continued for a 114th day. “We are reviewing it and considering our response within the context of the critical issues addressed in our proposals,” the negotiating committee said. THE COLONY, Texas (AP) — Hyo Joo Kim shot a 3-under 68 on Friday in The Ascendant LPGA to take a two-stroke lead over Sofia Garcia into the weekend, with resurgent Lexi Thompson tied for third. Kim had four birdies and a bogey in her morning round at Old American to reach 10-under 132. Thompson won the last of her 11 LPGA Tour titles in June 2019. And after celebrating her 114th birthday last week in Houston with five generations of her family, Francis earned the title of the oldest living person in Texas, according to local ABC station KTRK-TV.
